Mamuto Pictures is a full-circle film production company.
Based in the United States and currently operating out of Austin, Texas, we develop original projects with cinematic ambition and emotional depth — and bring that same care to the stories of others.
From feature films and series to music videos and branded content, we work across borders and genres with trusted partners in North America, Europe and the UK.
Mamuto Pictures also houses an educational division. We offer professional on-camera acting coaching, and we’re building screenwriting programs that integrate psychological practice — including methods rooted in shamanic traditions — into story development. We believe in nurturing talent and creative breakthroughs from the inside out.
As storytelling evolves, so do we. We are expanding into AI-video production for music and commercial content, and we welcome bold, boundary-pushing creative challenges as well as creative and financial partners.
Let’s build something unforgettable.
Let’s make something impossible.
We don’t just tell stories — we create worlds.
OUR CURRENT PROJECTS IN DEVELOPMENT:
Mini-Series – Sports Drama / Political Romance
Set against the charged backdrop of the Cold War, The Benefactor follows a young Soviet boxer—reluctantly plucked from the mines and thrust into the international arena—who rises to global acclaim just as his life is caught in the crosshairs of political control. Celebrated for his victories but punished for his defiance, he risks everything when he falls for an American woman during a U.S.–USSR boxing duel. As their forbidden love blossoms across borders, the KGB tightens its grip. Denied his Olympic dream and haunted by betrayal, his story unravels into exile, addiction, and a shot at redemption when a chance to fight Mike Tyson surfaces.
The Benefactor is a gripping, emotionally charged drama about love through the Iron Curtain, the price of integrity, and the legacy of resilience. Inspired by true accounts, it blends political intrigue, romance, and the raw intensity of the ring into a moving portrait of a man who refused to be a pawn.
Feature Film · Psychological Drama / Metaphysical Thriller
In Downshifting, the Devil comes to Earth not to destroy it — but to save his soul. When Lucifer inhabits the body of Lukas, a celebrated artist who dies tragically in India, he sets out on a path of spiritual redemption. He encounters Magnus, a self-proclaimed visionary with a dream of world domination and a charisma that masks dangerous delusion. As Lucifer funds Magnus’s supposed revolution and falls in love with a mysterious young woman who embodies divine grace, he’s pulled into a web of betrayal, human frailty, and cosmic irony. A mythic love story, spiritual thriller, and dark parable of power and illusion, Downshifting asks: what happens when the Prince of Darkness sincerely wants the light?
Feature Film / Historical Drama
Inspired by true events, Yakiv tells the story of one man's moral awakening during one of the darkest and least known tragedies of the 20th century.
In 1932–1933, a man-made famine—engineered by Stalin’s regime to crush Ukrainian resistance—swept through Soviet Ukraine, killing millions in what is now recognized by many historians as an act of genocide. Amid this terror, one man stood against the tide.
Yakiv Drobot, a loyal Communist and the first head of the collective farm “The Pauper,” finds himself torn between blind obedience to party doctrine and the cries of the starving villagers who look to him for leadership. As state enforcers confiscate grain and condemn entire families to death, Yakiv faces an impossible choice: uphold the regime he has believed in his whole life, or defy it—and risk his own life—to save his community.
Yakiv is a story of quiet resistance, of conscience over conformity, and of how the courage of one man saved nearly 3,000 lives. At its core, it asks: When following orders becomes a crime against humanity, what will you choose?
